It seems like DEIDetected now has some “””competition”””. It has recently been discovered by Smash JT over on his X/Twitter and YouTube page that there is now a pro Sweet Baby Inc Steam Curation page available, simply called “Sweet Baby Inc Blessed.”
Now, what is the purpose of this Steam Curation Group? Well, it serves the same purpose as DEIDetected: alerting people to whatever games that Sweet Baby Inc has worked on. It also lists off games and developers that have many anti-DEI statements publicly, and sets them as “Not Recommended” games. Basically, the curation page is trying to do the opposite of what DEIDetected is doing, but with way less effective results. At the time of this article being posted, there are only five games on their “Not Recommended” list, with one of those games being Nexon’s “The First Descendant”, a South Korean-developed third-person shooter MMO with attractive female characters that apparently “makes weirdos unnaturally horny”. The page also has 787+ followers at the moment, so they only have 477,010+ followers to go in order to reach DEIDetected’s follower count.

The internet reacts
Over at Smash JT’s X/Twitter page, you can see that many people have reacted to this discovery with humorous responses:
“ain’t no way.. this has to be some sort of parody.” -@crawdaddio
“Omg anything to destroy those damned chuds one and forever. @SweetBabyIncwill not just go away” -@tdseviscerator
“The list is fundamentally the same, and can equally be utilized by people who wish to know more about SBI’s involvement in games in order to avoid them. I encourage this curator to keep doing their job for us.” -@HausenUSA
Initially, I could not tell if this Steam page was supposed to be serious or a troll, as some of the recommended reasons for each game on the list included statements such as “Avowed is a based game that angers anti-woke crowd”. but Kabrutus noticed that the page has existed since March 2024, given that the first game on the list was Sweet Baby Inc’s involvement with RockSteady’s “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”. If the creator is willing to keep the list updated (or at the very least, mirror all of the content found on DEIDetected’s curation page), chances are that the creator is serious in their efforts to inform users of the SBI’s “blessed” involvement in gaming.
Still, given how scattered SBI’s work is, now that Kabrutus and the rest of the internet has shined a spotlight on them, there doesn’t seem to be any real benefit for consumers when following this list, outside of simply “owning the chuds”, of course.
As a reminder: Kabrutus started SBI-Detected (now DEIDetected) simply to inform people about games that have been graced with the sweet baby stank. It started off with that simple goal in mind, and now has evolved into the great anti-DEI gaming movement that you see today. Despite this: we do not shame anyone who still chooses to play any game that has SBI’s involvement or DEI elements in it, because the decision to buy any game is between you and your wallet. Ultimately, the creation of SBI Blessed serves as a small reminder to everyone over how influential DEIDetected has become.
The team here at DEIDetected will continue to update our lists and bring you any news regarding DEI-related games and the direction of the gaming industry in general.
