Approximately a week ago, SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management) made an announcement detailing how HR departments are changing the way in which they will push the DEI agenda.
There, they acknowledged how DEI programs have created a backlash and announced that they are going to adopt the acronym “I&D” (Inclusion & Diversity), citing “commitment with inclusion as the catalyst for holistic change in workplaces and society.”
This prompted vocal discontent among many HR professionals and departments. One such consulting firm called “Different DEI”, made it very clear how much they disagree with the new approach by SHRM.
