A small step for DEIDetected, a giant leap for the Gaming Worldwide Community

Space

Hello everyone!

Some of you already know me (tough luck!), but others still do not, so I will start by introducing myself.

I am Marco ''Corrosion'' Giovetti, and I am a gamer just like all of you. A gamer who is sick and tired of having some weird purple-haired hacktivist developers or Corporate mannequins pushing propagandas and agendas down his throat. A gamer who saw the rise of a great Industry, A gamer who spent his youth playing Monkey Island, Quake, Doom, Dota, and thousands of other great games. A gamer who saw the rise of a great Industry, OUR industry, and who is not willing to let it fall in the hands of unqualified people, just to fill some easy checkmarks and to squeeze out as much money as possible from what we all love: our games, movies, comics. A gamer just like you, again.

That's why I am extremely proud to announce that, from today on, DEIDetected website will provide a more extensive coverage of all that's surrounding the Entertainment Industry through news, articles, and more.

Does this means that DEIDetected will become yet another outlet?
Let me clarify on this specific point: NO FUCKING CHANCE!
We are not, and we will never be, ''journalists''. And we will never use that term to refer to any of the people who will write for us. We are merely GAMERS, and that's all we need and want to be!

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of outlets out there who are doing an AMAZING daily job, from NicheGamer to That Park Place, from FandomPulse to Bound Into Comics, we deeply respect and admire them for the work that they have been doing for the gaming community, but that's just not our road.

So no, we won't become another outlet, and we won't be covering every single news. We would rather take our time to publish and provide you all some high quality content.

We will host a lot of great folks on this website during the coming months who will share their point of views with you guys. Me and Kabrutus will also write a couple of pieces from time to time, should the need arise.

Let's show this soulless Industry and Media (looking at you, Kotaku, IGN, The Verge...) what does it really mean to be A PROPER GAMER, and we will do it together!
